Land & Legacy | Pollinator Blends: The Real Story

Posted from: https://audio.simplecast.com/4ab614ba.mp3

On this podcast we are on site of a pasture renovation project with Pure Air Natives. We are assisting and filming the process of converting an old fescue pasture into a pollinator blend utilizing the EQIP Program. When we think pollinator blends, we often think just about Monarchs, but there is so much more!

During this podcast, we cover when pollinator blends service more than just pollinators, how they benefit other wildlife, limit erosion, improve soil quality, impress the Ms. at home, the economics, and the steps to ensure efficient plant native seeds. We break down all these topics and prove it is a no brainer for any hunter, land manager, and outdoor enthusiast to consider planting a pollinator blend on their own property.

For many years to come, these six acres will offer exponentially more cover, forage, and diversity to this landowners property in comparison to the existing pasture. If you want to win points at home and improve the land, plant a pollinator mix. The benefits are endless! Enjoy.Learn.Share #PlantyourLegacy #ForLoveoftheLand
