The first step to controlling feral hogs is to recognize the signs that you have them on your property. Noble Foundation wildlife consultants Russell Stevens and Will Moseley show you damage caused by hogs and other signs to look for to determine if you have a wild pig problem.

BILL THOMPSON IS A MISSOURI STATE SHILL! FUCK HIM!
YEAH WELL FUCK YOU! I WILL KILL THEM IF I WANT!
MISSOURI FARM BUREAU! FUCK YOU! AS A LAND OWNER OF OVER 100 ACERS I AM ALLOWED TO KILL ANY ANMAL DYSTROYING ANY OF MY CROPS! FUCK YOUR STUPID TRAPPING PROGRAMS! I CAN KILL AND EAT ANY HOG ON MY PROPTY PERIOD! AND KEEP YOUR CONSERVATION NATZS OFF MY LAND!
You have to kill more than 75% of hogs every season to keep their numbers from growing. But too exterminate them even 90% isn't good enough because they quadruple every season. That means even with 10% left, next year 40% and the year after that 160%. They recover from a 90% eradication in only 1.5 year. There is only one way to properly and cleanly get rid of them and that is a full time job that only mother nature can do : restore large predators in the area. Sounds crazy but it's not. With a plentiful boar population to feed on, large predators won't even harm cattle. Wolves would be prime candidates.

You people banning hunting hogs on government land dont understand that YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. If you dont do different the population will get out of your control
Then why is Missouri banning the hunting of feral hogs on public land? Government grants that’s why. They would rather get federal money than deal with the problem
My thoughts have always been private land owners should allow hunters free of charge to eradicate these things. But greedy landowners want to turn it into a business. They'll never decrease their numbers as long as they charge extravagant amounts for hunting them.
lmfao they are a menace ,,but ya gotta pay to kill em ,,,,,,,
Why not just put up a fence ? Cost?
Good source for pet food
I had a feral (wild) hog in my backyard of my home not far from Houston. I called the police, but a policeman showed up with a .38 revolver. I told him it was inadequate and offered to shoot it if he didn't file a charge against me for discharging a firearm. He agreed. I shot it with my 7mm Reington Magnum. Any deer rifle will do, but as always bullet placement is the key.
This is the first I've heard of Hogs being in Missouri. Seems like their range is increasing. I often wonder if they'll make it to Michigan ?
Let hunters shot them and either keep the meat or give it to the hungry. If you just shot them and not us the meat that is a waste. I would be glad to come hunt for them I like wild hog good eating
Let folks come in and shoot the nuisance hogs. I’m willing to even pay for a Mo. non-resident hunting license.
The best rap is the drop I think then mow them down. 45 diseases no thanks do not eat nor handle without gloves.
what about 30-50 feral hogs?
Very informative ty
In Canada we have hunting parties as large as 20 plus men. A bunch will walk through the bush and the shooters will wait for them on the other side. very efficient they get a lot of deer I think if you guys would band together this would work on pigs all your doing now is chasing them around.
