What do you do with the bucks?? Sell them to hunters
i like this video your a good man vary good job brother
Great video, Jason! Very interesting!
The very best part of watching this KoioSouth series is that he teaches. A everyday deer hunter can use the things he passes along if they hunt a normal deer lease, for example the time of year and how much, the % of protein in what feed or hay. The why of it all. The other " guy " teaches how much to pay for a DNA deer we cannot afford. John Nelson, Pasadena, TX
Love this! This was awesome narration!
He said the hay was a mixture of alfalfa and what kind of grass ? Good video. Thx.

Great video! What Minerals are you using for your deer?
These are the nearest relationship of the German Reh.
But the Reh usually don’t live in herds and are very, very shy.
Love what you do for a living like your videos, keep up the great work.
Also love seeing the babies.

Wow great deer farm

I get mixed information when it comes to trying to age a buck. Some information I read stated that a bucks back tends to have a dip in it up until they reach 3.5, then it levels out, and becomes straight. At 4.5 the info I read stated the back would still be straight, but at 5.5, the back would start having a curve in it again. The 2.5 year old you showed looks like it's back is straight, and that throws everything for a loop when it comes to trying to age a deer on the hoof. I'm not sure what to believe exactly. Love the video though.
thanks I usually see the new one on Monday on YouTube but didn't see it til yesterday but I got it no hard no foul and another great episode
hey guys when will ur next episode be on the list I'm looking forward to seeing it thanks
thank you very much for the advice and if we decide on beans with clover next year we will broadcast it in early I tried watching the news video #407 and it won't let me yet thanks again guys
Thanks
Waiting until November the 4 th baby!!!
me and my son are already looking into a new plot for next spring probably less than an acre we want to do clover because the deer in VT love it but we were thinking of broadcasting beans into the clover in late summer is there a way to do this by hand? we can't get a planter or anything else where this plot will be
Is there not going to be a new episode released today on your website like usual?
Hopefully you'll see this comment and reply, but I'm considering getting out of the corporate world and starting my own small business. I've considered developing plots for people wanting to attract deer and/or grow deer. How does one go about getting information and experience with this?
great video as always
also Daniel I have a hidey hole food plot it's all clover if I want to plant soy beans for like a late fall or winter crop i don't have a no till drill I planted my clover with a bag seeder any ideas for how to plant beans over my existing clover?

I'll my best I was really looking forward to getting to hunt
Hey growing deer team. I have a question. My family and I leased a small property of 160 acres 3 years ago and have been trying to employment many of the deer management principles that you teach in your show. Although it gets very frustrating when your neighbors shoot anything with hooves. We have had a hard time getting history with bucks due to our neighbors' "brown it's down" policy.
Last season we had what seemed to be a 3 year old buck that was a pretty wide 6 point with no brow tines. His spread was just outside the ears. "Pretty good for our area in south Arkansas." He disappeared mid season and we figured he was harvested. This week we had a very wide 8 point "my guess is 19-20 inches inside" show up with very similar characteristics as the 6 point from last year. But here's where it gets tricky for me, this deer has brow tines.
I have heard my entire life that if a deer doesn't have brow tines once he reaches 2 or 3 years old, then he never will have them. So my question to you is, What is your experience with brow tineless deer and can a deer lack brow tines one year but have them the next year?
At this point he is by far the most impressive deer we have seen on the property since we got there.
If this is the same deer, it really shows how passing a deer even when you know the neighbors will shoot him, can really pay off! Thanks growing deer team for your work and for sharing your knowledge.
